How to get Playa Formentor
By taxi or transfer
Not the cheapest, but the most convenient and fast way is a taxi or a transfer. You may choose the best option for you.
By bus
Buses do not go right to the cape and to the lighthouse. But if you are planning a trip to the cape by public transport, you must first get to the city of Porto de Pollensa. Bus number 340 goes from Palma de Mallorca to Port de Pollensa, which departs from the Palma city bus station. Travel time is about 1 hour 30 minutes. Tickets should be bought from the driver. When you arrive, you can try to take a bus to Formentor beach, but keep in mind that it goes literally once a day around 10 am and only in summer. The easiest way is to take a taxi, the price won't be high.
