Mirador Es Colomer or Formentor Observation Deck

The observation deck is called Mirador Es Colomer and is located 4 km from the Formentor beach. So if you drive from the side of Porta Pollensa, then first you see an observation deck on the way, and then the Formentor beach and the Formentor lighthouse.

The most breathtaking views open up from this observation deck. You will admire a 300-meter cliff, against the background of deep blue waves and sky. Literally, in the first minute of this spectacle, the line between reality and dreams is erased and you have no choice but to surrender to your imagination. Keep your cameras ready and take an extra charger with you.

If you want, you can climb the path a little higher and look at the old tower. If not, you won’t lose much, because it is visible from the site.

If you don’t like to crowd and take photos from behind the heads of tourists, don’t go to the observation deck itself, but walk around it. A couple of steps to the right or to the left will help you to breathe much more freely.
