Cala Mayor Beach

Cala Mayor Beach is located 6 km from the center of Palma de Mallorca and 7 km from the city's Paseo Maritimo promenade.

Cala Mayor has a Blue Flag award, which means a high level of comfort and cleanliness of the beach. On both sides, the beach is surrounded by rocks that create a kind of lagoon, which makes the water calm and clear. The sand on the beach is fine, white, and the descent to the water is very gentle, which makes the beach comfortable for families with children.

The beach has everything you need for a great beach vacation: toilets and showers, changing cabins, eateries and cafes. Here you can also rent a sun lounger and an umbrella for about 15 euros.

How to get to Cala Mayor beach from Palma

Bus number 104 and bus number 3 go here from the city center. The bus departs from the central bus station situated on Plaza España, and you need to get off at the stop Joan Miró 270 (Hotel Nixe). There you will find Hotel Nixe - the entrance to the beach is located near the hotel.
