Barcelona Zoo
The Barcelona Zoo is located in Ciutadella Park, 15 minutes walk from Placa de Catalunya.
This is the ideal place to relax on a hot summer day or walk with the bright flamingos in winter.
The zoo is home to over 300 animal species and over 400 plant species. There is almost no cages in this zoo so animals feel very comfortable. Visitors are separated from the animals by deep ditches full of water, low walls or fences. Some animals, like peacocks or some rodents may walk among the guests of the zoo.
Timetables and prices
The zoo is open every day from 10 am, and the closing time varies depending on the season, on average until 17.30-19.00.
The ticket costs 21.40 euros. There are discounts for children from 3 to 12 years old, and children under 3 years old visit the zoo for free.
You may buy your ticket at the cash-desk or online. You must not print your online ticket, just save it to the phone.
