This beautiful palace was built on Rambla in 1775 by the order of the Viceroy of Peru Manuel de Amat. The customer died before the construction was completed, so his widow, Maria Francesca de Fivallière y de Broy, settled in the new palace.
The facade of the building looks modest and even strict, but inside it hides luxury and baroque splendor.
The entrance is often free, but some exhibitions may be paid.
