Bogatell Beach

The central Barcelona beach is called Bogatell. The atmosphere of relaxation and tranquility reigns here. There are no gangs of children, unlike on Nova Icaria beach, meetings with men without swimming trunks and topless women, unlike on Barceloneta, are practically excluded. There is only you, the splashing waves, and the sun melting clean golden sand.

Bogatell beach facilities

The length of the beach is 650 meters, the width is 40. It is enough for a pleasant rest because even in a high season, you will easily find a place by the water and feel comfortable.

The beach has everything for a perfect seaside holiday. Comfortable sun loungers and large sunshades can be rented for 6 euros apiece, refreshing cocktails are prepared in beach bars, tapas smell delicious in eateries, and shrimps languish in cafes. There are showers and toilets on the beach, for a fee you can use the left-luggage offices. It is better not to leave your stuff unattended, theft is very common in Barcelona.

The beach has entertainment for children and adults. Children's slides and play areas, football pitches, volleyball nets, table tennis tables, fitness equipment, and active sports equipment rentals are available here. You can do yoga, join meditation, learn to dance, rent a bike or roller skates and drive away from the noisy crowd, walk along the promenade that stretches for five kilometers along the sea, or just read by the sea.
