Playa de la Nea

Playa de la Nea is located 13 km from Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

This is a spacious beach with black volcanic sand, surrounded by low hills and lush greenery.

The length of the beach is 350 meters, and there is always a lot of vacant space. Usually locals come here, and tourists choose more popular places, such as Teresitas.

Playa de les Nea is clean, not crowded, the slope into the water is rather gentle, but there are no facilities there. Therefore, if you decide to come here, take water and something to eat with you. This is a quiet and peaceful place where you can spend the whole day by the ocean and no one will disturb you.

On a hill a couple of meters from the beach there is a large park with excellent playgrounds for children.

How to get to Playa de la Nea from Santa Cruz

Bus number 111 goes here from the capital. You can board it at the Intercambiador Sta bus station. Cruz. The station near the beach is called Radazul. The stop is 5 minutes’ walk from the beach. You may also rent a transfer. The ride to Playa de la Nea from Santa Cruz de Tenerife costs 22 euros.
