Ibiza attracts not only with beaches and parties, but also with its cultural program.
The most interesting museums include the Museum of Modern Art and its branch called the Puget Museum.
Works by local artist Narcis Puget Riquer are exhibited here. Most likely you are not a fan of his work, nevertheless, the museum perfectly describes the mood of the entire island. In total, the museum contains 130 works by the artist, depicting local landscapes in a variety of techniques.
The museum regularly hosts exhibitions of works by contemporary artists and sculptors.
A special attraction of the museum is its building. It was built in the 15th century and decorated in a traditional Balearic Mediterranean style using natural materials: wood and stone. Unusual patterns, arched windows, columns and a magnificent view from the windows make this place, if not a must-see, but very worth visiting.
Come here to enjoy local folk costumes, sculptures and antique furniture.
The entrance is free.
