The fortress of Ibiza

The fortress of Ibiza, or Castel de Eivissa, was built in the 12th century during the Muslim invasion.

The fortress is interesting, first of all, with a stunning view of the city and the sea, which opens from its highest point.

You may be interested in an exhibition of weapons and an old church, which are located on the territory.

There are also several cafes where you can have a bite or drink delicious coffee.

To get to the fortress, you need to climb up the road and the stairs, so put on you the most comfortable shoes.

A visit to the fortress including the way there and back will take you about 3 hours or even less.

Entrance costs 3 euros.

The fortress is open every day.
