Las Americas is one of the most popular resorts in Tenerife. It is located 80 km from the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Best beaches in Las Americas

There are cafes and bars on the beach, that means you can drink a cooling cocktail and dine with Canarian dishes on the terrace overlooking the ocean. Las Americas beach is not as friendly as Camison. There are sharp stones there, and there is a large coral reef in the water, so you can get hurt if you won't be careful. Playa de Troya is another good beach. It is located on the edge of the city. The black sand beach is fenced on both sides by breakwaters, so there are no big waves here, the sand is quite fine, so it is comfortable to relax here. There are not as many people as on Camison, so you will easily find a place near the water. The beach is well equipped. There is a rental of sunbeds and umbrellas (about 5 euros per day), cafes and bars, toilets and showers. There is a rental of beach equipment and kiosks selling beach accessories.
