Castelldefels beach

Platja de Castelldefels or Castelldefels beach is located in Castelldefels, 22 km from Barcelona.

The length of the beach is about 5 km, it is conditionally divided into several sectors, but in fact, there are no divisions. The width of the beach is more than 200 meters, so even on the most crowded day, there will be enough space for everyone.

This beach is very popular with locals, but tourists rarely come here, despite the fact that it is not far to go. Twenty minutes from the center of Barcelona and soft clean sand is at your service. Families with children will appreciate the gentle descent into the water, while others will like the turquoise waves of the Mediterranean Sea, showers and toilets, rental of sun loungers and umbrellas, sports fields and volleyball nets, cute beach cafes, and bars, rental of boats and kayaks, and as well as equipment for active types of marine recreation.

How to get to Castelldefels beach

You can get to the beach by train, which departs from the central railway station of Barcelona Barcelona Sants. The station is called Platja de Casteldefels.
