Playa des Cavalet is located 9 km from the center of Ibiza.
The length of the beach is more than 1 km, the width is about 40 meters.
This is an official nude beach and there is an unofficial gay part on the edge of the beach.
There is also a regular section where anyone can come.
The beach is sandy, but the slope to the water is rocky and inconvenient.
You can rent a sunbed and an umbrella. There are also changing cabins, showers and toilets, cafes and bars.
On both sides of the beach, there are the remains of old fortresses, where you can take a walk or sit comfortably alone with nature and the sea.
At the entrance to the beach, there are salt marshes where flamingos live. This is a very bright attraction, do not miss the opportunity to enjoy it. The salt marshes and the beach are separated by forest. You will need to walk for about half an hour. The distance can be covered by car or on foot.
You can get here by bus or taxi. Buses depart from the center of Ibiza and Playa d'en Bossa. From the bus stop to the beach, you need to walk 15-20 minutes through the pine forest.
The ticket from Ibiza costs 4 euros one way.
